Issue 23 includes the episode that reaches the climax of the TV series' middle part, the psychological portrayal of the characters, and the battle records of the Evas and Angels, along with visuals. It also contains detailed mechanical settings for the Strategic Self-Defense Force, NERV's facilities, and armaments, making it a very satisfying read.
